Salwa and Esraa Elzeny‍ Mostafa,twin‍ sisters from Egypt,have been sharing their passion for Korean ​culture as Honorary Reporters for Korea.net for 11⁣ years.Their journey into⁤ the world of K-dramas and K-pop began over two decades ago, sparking​ a deep recognition for all things Korean.

Their involvement​ with korean culture deepened after discovering the Honorary Reporter program through ​a Facebook group called “Korea Clickers.” The⁣ Korean government‌ launched the program‍ 15 years ago to produce⁢ diverse content ⁢about⁢ Korea in 10 languages, some of which appears on Korea.net. The twins are now ⁣among the program’s longest-serving members.

Salwa said their love⁤ for Korea started in‍ middle school after watching ‍Korean dramas and listening to K-pop groups on Egyptian TV.
