Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Announces 1st Rabiul Awal and Prophet’s Birthday

The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs⁣ has announced that 1st Rabiul Awal of 1446 Hijri will fall on Thursday, September 5, 2024, ⁢and Prophet’s birthday Eid will‍ be on 12 Rabiul Awal of 1446 AH,‍ corresponding to September 16, 2024 ‌AD.

The ministry observed the crescent of the month of Rabi’al-Awwal 1446 AH⁢ after sunset on Tuesday, 29 Safar 1446 AH, corresponding to September 3, 2024 AD,‍ and confirmed ⁤it.

The ⁢ministry’s announcement stated that the month of Safar⁢ completes thirty days and the beginning of the ⁢month of Rabi’ ⁢al-Awwal is Thursday, September 5, 2024 AD.‍ The Prophet’s birthday ⁣is on Monday, 12 Rabi’ al-Awwal,⁤ 1446 AH, corresponding to September 16, 2024 AD.
