Al Salam Bank Launches Special ATMs for Eid Ayadi Withdrawals
Updated June 09, 2025
Al salam Bank is introducing dedicated ATMs for Eid ‘Ayadi’ withdrawals at three major shopping centers in Bahrain. Starting June 3, these special ATMs will be available for three days at Marassi Galleria, City Center Bahrain, and The Avenues Mall.
This initiative allows Al Salam Bank debit cardholders to conveniently withdraw new banknotes in smaller denominations, specifically BD1 and BD5, catering to the tradition of festive gifting during Eid. The Eid Ayadi ATMs aim to provide convenient banking during the holiday season.
By strategically placing these ATMs in high-traffic mall locations, the bank aims to offer clients greater flexibility and convenience, eliminating the need to visit branches for new banknotes. This also helps reduce in-branch traffic during peak holiday periods. Each ATM will clearly display the available denominations for a user-kind experience. The special ATMs are a direct response to client feedback.
Mohammed Buhijji, head of retail banking at Al Salam Bank, said the introduction of dedicated Eid ‘Ayadi’ ATMs is a timely response to client demand. He added that it is a continuation of the bank’s mission to provide efficient, convenient, and accessible services that complement clients’ lifestyles and reduce the need for branch visits during high-traffic periods.
What’s next
The initiative aligns with Al Salam Bank’s strategy to continuously expand its digital and self-service capabilities while responding to seasonal client needs.
