El Dorado Film Festival 2025: Highlights, Raffle, and Ticket Info

The El Dorado Film Festival will take place from February 26 to March 2, 2025, at the South Arkansas Arts Center (SAAC). This festival highlights independent films from around the world and showcases talent and creativity in cinema.

Festival Director Alex Jeffery and Tamra Davis, chairperson of the Film Steering Committee at SAAC, invite filmmakers and audiences to join them in El Dorado for a week filled with film presentations and networking opportunities.

A special raffle will help raise funds for the festival. Raffle tickets are priced at $5 each or $20 for five tickets. The winner will receive a signed screenplay of Jeff Nichols’ latest film, “The Bikeriders,” along with two VIP Passes to the festival. The drawing will be held on December 17 at 5:30 p.m. at SAAC. Raffle tickets can be purchased at SAAC or from a film committee member and are tax-deductible.

Jeff Nichols is an acclaimed filmmaker known for “Take Shelter,” “Mud,” and “Loving.” His recent film, “The Bikeriders,” premiered at the Telluride Film Festival and had its worldwide release in June 2024. The raffle winner will receive a personally addressed signed script by Nichols.
