Elden Ring Nightreign: Patch Tweaks Madness, Fixes Revival Bug

A new patch for Elden Ring Nightreign,⁢ version 1.01.3, is now live,‌ bringing balance adjustments‌ and ⁤bug fixes to ⁢all platforms. While the changes⁤ are focused, players ⁤are‍ reacting positively.

The⁣ patch increases the drop rate​ for weapons with ⁣the madness status ailment.‌ Madness inflicts significant ‌damage, causing enemies to erupt ‍in flames.

While the increased‌ madness weapon drops could‌ help against Nightlords such as⁢ Libra, some players on Reddit’s⁣ r/Nightreign are skeptical. They point​ out‌ that few weapons ‍have madness effects, mainly ​incantation seals and​ Vyke’s ​Spear, and ‌only a small number of enemies are vulnerable to ⁣it.

One Reddit user said they hope​ regular weapons ⁤can⁢ now roll madness, even if only from ‍madness⁢ camps, noting ⁢that ​other status effects ‌are more common despite madness being particularly useful against‍ one specific boss.
