Despite initial challenges, Elden ring Nightreign achieved strong sales, moving 3.5 million copies within ⁢five days. While the original Elden Ring sold 30 million copies ‍since 2022, the Nightreign expansion aims to build on⁤ that success. The Shadow of the Erdtree expansion sold 5 million copies within⁤ three days‍ of its release in 2024.

Player reviews on Steam have shifted from “mixed” to “mostly positive.” Initial criticism centered on the game’s difficulty⁣ for solo⁢ players, the absence of duos co-op, lack of voice chat, and other mechanics.

A recent⁢ patch from FromSoftware addressed‍ these concerns by making solo play easier. The company also confirmed that duos mode is in development. These changes aim to improve the overall Elden Ring Nightreign experience and address player feedback.

What’s next

FromSoftware plans to⁤ release additional content later this year and ⁤will gradually implement new features, including ‍enhanced fights against ‍existing Nightlords, starting this month. These updates aim to keep the Elden Ring Nightreign experience fresh and engaging for players.
