Dammam’s Social Welfare House Hosts Throw It Write Club
Dammam’s Social Welfare House, affiliated with the Eastern Province Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development branch, hosted the Throw It Write Club on Sunday, September 15, 2024. The event included an explanation from group member, artist Ali Al-Taruti, on recycling and how an artistic painting household paper waste can be used in making, which embodies the meaning of the glorious National Day Celebrations.
The event included contests and gifts to winners to create a positive competition between parents. Parents also enjoyed eating and talking with club members, as it was mentioned that this is not the first visit to the house, there have been many visits before and this will not be the case. Lastly, visiting home employees is a social duty that the club has been interested in for a few years.
The event concluded with the presentation of awards to the Throw It Right Club by Imad Al-Shakhouri, Supervisor of the Public Relations and Media Unit. Dr. Amal Al Ibrahim also expressed his immense pleasure in meeting and conversing with the parents. He expressed his sincere thanks to the management of the home, its director Mr. Radi Al-Anaji, and all the staff for welcoming them well, facilitating visits, and participating in National Day events and activities.
