On the 20th of this month, authorities received a report from the victim’s wife, discovering his body inside the apartment wiht multiple stab wounds. Investigations quickly focused on the circumstances surrounding an online advertisement for the apartment.
The victim had listed his apartment for rent on an application,and two individuals contacted him expressing interest. These individuals arranged a meeting at the apartment, where they confirmed the victim was alone before launching a fatal attack with a knife. They then stole his personal belongings.
Following an intensive search,security forces arrested the two suspects,residents of Al-Sharqiya Governorate. One of the individuals had a prior criminal record. During interrogation, both confessed to the murder, stating their motive was robbery.
