Obituary for Elizabeth

Location: 5 Mount Mahon, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick; formerly of South Keale, Athea, Co. Limerick.

Elizabeth passed away peacefully at the age of 97 on Tuesday, 19th November 2024. She died after a short illness, surrounded by family at University Hospital Kerry.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Michael and her three sons, Micheal, Joe, and Mossie. She is deeply missed by her daughter Margaret, sons David, Liam, Ned, and Pat, and her sister Margaret. She leaves behind her son-in-law and daughters-in-law: Jack, Bridgie, Carol, Mary, Lily, Margaret, Kim, and Almeria. Elizabeth also cherished her 22 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is remembered by her sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, and many friends and relatives.

• Location: Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44)
• Date: Wednesday, 20th November
• Time: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Details:

• Removal from Ned’s home in Knocknasna, Abbeyfeale on Thursday, 21st November at 10:00 a.m.
• The procession will stop at her late residence, Mount Mahon.
• Arrival at The Church of the Assumption Abbeyfeale for Requiem Mass at 11:00 a.m.

Interment: She will be laid to rest afterwards in Reilig Íde Naofa, Abbeyfeale.
