As elon Musk departs DOGE, tensions appear to be rising between him and the White House. In a recent CBS interview, Musk, despite once calling himself former President Donald trump’s “first buddy,” insisted he never fully agreed with the administration’s policies.

Musk highlighted DOGE’s role as a scapegoat and the “massive spending bill” as key points of contention. ⁣He expressed ‍disappointment that DOGE was blamed for⁢ budget cuts and worried the spending bill would negate⁤ any savings ‍achieved‍ by DOGE.

The ‍congressional Budget Office estimates the bill could add $3.8 trillion to the‍ national debt over the next ⁤decade,undermining DOGE’s purported $175 billion in savings.Musk⁢ stated the bill “undermines the work that the DOGE team is doing.”
