Reality TV Star Reconsiders Lawyer After Abuse⁤ Videos Surface

Emily Ceco, ​known for her appearance on the reality show “Love is Armor,” is
re-evaluating her professional relationship with attorney Roberto Castillo
after videos surfaced showing him verbally abusing his ex-girlfriend, Daniela
‍ Vera‌ Fontana.

Ceco, who previously accused her former partner Santiago Martínez of gender
violence, had hired Castillo to represent her. Though, after viewing​ the
videos,‌ which reportedly contain insults and displays⁤ of extreme tension, she
‍ contacted journalist Fernanda Iglesias‍ to express her regret over her
⁣ association with the lawyer.

Ceco Expresses Solidarity with Vera Fontana

“I want you to apologize to Daniela; as a woman, I⁢ feel ashamed for what I
⁤ said,” Ceco wrote in a message to Iglesias. “Always on the⁢ side of women. I
stand in⁤ solidarity with her. I​ never thought that the situation​ was of this
​ magnitude. I suffered the same ⁣violence, and it is⁤ impossible not to
‍ empathize with it and recall a thousand things.”

Ceco admitted that her initial ​opinion of Castillo was⁣ based on incomplete
data. she ‌also stated she is reconsidering her‍ legal depiction.
​ “At this time, I am rethinking whether Castillo continues to represent me as
a lawyer,” she said.

Videos Aired on El Trece

The ‌videos were presented on the El Trece program, were Vera Fontana
provided context. She testified that one incident occurred after a family
⁣ dispute, during which Castillo allegedly “started with insults, offenses
⁤ towards me⁤ and with my family.”⁣ A second ‍video reportedly shows Castillo
confronting another ⁤driver in public, using misogynistic and demeaning
‍ ​ ⁤ language.
