Ceco, who previously accused her former partner Santiago Martínez of gender
violence, had hired Castillo to represent her. Though, after viewing the
videos, which reportedly contain insults and displays of extreme tension, she
contacted journalist Fernanda Iglesias to express her regret over her
association with the lawyer.
Ceco Expresses Solidarity with Vera Fontana
“I want you to apologize to Daniela; as a woman, I feel ashamed for what I
said,” Ceco wrote in a message to Iglesias. “Always on the side of women. I
stand in solidarity with her. I never thought that the situation was of this
magnitude. I suffered the same violence, and it is impossible not to
empathize with it and recall a thousand things.”
Ceco admitted that her initial opinion of Castillo was based on incomplete
data. she also stated she is reconsidering her legal depiction.
“At this time, I am rethinking whether Castillo continues to represent me as
a lawyer,” she said.
