Adam Sandler just spilled the beans (or should we say, “mom’s spaghetti?”) on a major cameo in the highly anticipated “Happy Gilmore 2” – and it’s none other than rap icon Eminem.During a recent appearance on “The Dan Patrick Show,” Sandler,fresh off wrapping filming,couldn’t resist teasing the rapper’s involvement. While he remained tight-lipped about specifics, he gushed about Eminem’s comedic chops and the fun they had on set.
“Okay, yes, yes!” Sandler enthusiastically confirmed when Patrick pressed him about Eminem’s appearance. ”I’ve known eminem for a long time, and he’s a great guy. And he came in and was funny as hell and was just — I think we just hung out a day with Eminem, and we just shot and shot and it was insane. He said a million things we can use and a million things where we’re glad we have them on tape.”
This isn’t the first time Eminem has graced a Sandler film. The rapper previously delivered a memorable performance in Sandler’s 2009 comedy “Funny People.”

Sandler also confirmed that golfing legend Jack Nicklaus will be teeing off in the sequel, along with a host of other famous golfers he chose to keep under wraps.
While rumors swirled about a March or April release, possibly coinciding with the Masters Tournament, Sandler shot down those speculations. He aims for a July release, though he admitted, “You never know what’s going to happen.”
The news of “Happy Gilmore 2” first broke in March, with Netflix officially greenlighting the sequel in May.Nearly 30 years after the original, the film reunites Sandler with original cast members Ben Stiller, christopher McDonald, Julie Bowen, and Dennis Dugan.
Directed by Kyle Newacheck from a script by Sandler and Tim Herlihy, “Happy Gilmore 2” promises to be a hilarious return to the green.
