Horses Play a ⁤Key Role in ‘Rietland’

Four horses from Media ‌Horses ‍International, a stable in Emmeloord, Netherlands, featured prominently in⁢ the film, ⁣including a complex scene involving a ‍pregnant mare.omroep ⁣Flevoland reports that three of the horses ​were used to portray a single mare -‌ one for pregnancy, one as a companion, and ⁣one trained to convincingly portray the animal lying lifeless in a field. The stallion used ⁣in the breeding scene ⁤also originated from the Emmeloord stable.

The scene depicts the tragic death of ⁣the mare, a pivotal moment ‌in the film’s‍ narrative.
