Mysterious Stone Formations⁣ Spark Controversy ‍in New Taipei City

Wanli District, Taiwan – ⁤Four plots of land ​in Wanli District, New Taipei City, ​have become the‍ center of controversy ⁢due too the appearance of unusual⁤ stone formations. ⁤Residents are expressing concern‌ and⁤ discomfort ⁢over the ⁣sight of large⁣ boulders arranged in patterns ‍reminiscent ​of burial sites,surrounded by cement bricks and red‌ ropes.

“It’s very⁤ uncomfortable,” said​ Guo Jia Shu, the mayor of‌ Wanli ​District. “When⁤ you open ⁤the door, you can see those stones, and sometimes there are a ​bunch of people. It feels like a tree burial or a⁤ religious ceremony.”

Adding⁤ to the mystery, New Taipei City Councilor Zhang Jinhao has linked the formations to the “Empire of Atlantis,” an organization that has⁤ gained notoriety online. he claims that⁢ a rally base for the group, located a short drive⁣ away, features similar rock⁣ formations.

“Atlantis is all negative, and it ⁢will inevitably become terrible in the future,” Councilor Zhang ‌warned.

The⁢ bureau of Agriculture has⁣ confirmed​ that the land in question ⁣is designated for agricultural use and that the current arrangements‍ constitute illegal non-agricultural activity. ⁣Fines ranging from 60,000 to​ 300,000 New Taiwan dollars ⁤are expected to be levied.

The⁢ Empire of Atlantis has not responded‍ to inquiries regarding ‍the situation.This incident has⁤ sparked debate ⁢among ⁢residents,⁢ with some expressing fear and unease while ⁢others remain skeptical.‌ The authorities are continuing to⁣ investigate the matter ⁢and ensure​ that the land is used in accordance with regulations.
