Merck Foundation Launches 15th Episode of ‘Our Africa by Merck Foundation’ TV Program
The Merck Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Germany’s Merck KGaA, has launched the 15th episode of its groundbreaking TV program ‘Our Africa by Merck Foundation’ on its social media handles.
‘Our Africa by Merck Foundation’ is a pan-African television program conceptualized, produced, directed, and co-hosted by Senator, Dr. Rasha Kelej, CEO of the Merck Foundation. The program features African fashion designers, singers, and prominent experts, aiming to raise awareness and create culture change across Africa.
The TV program currently airs on KTN Home in Kenya, every Saturday at 5 pm and is repeated every Thursday at 6:30 am.

The aim of the TV program ‘Our Africa by Merck Foundation’ is to contribute to sensitizing communities about various social and health issues such as ending FGM, ending child marriage, preventing GBV, breaking the infertility stigma, supporting women’s education, awareness of diabetes and a healthy lifestyle, coronavirus awareness, sustainable fashion, and more.
