Jeddah Governorate Municipality Strengthens Partnership with Non-Profit Sector
The Jeddah Governorate Municipality has taken a significant step towards strengthening its partnership with the non-profit sector, with a recent visit to the Jeddah Al-Beer Association. The visit was led by Eng. Hatan Bin Hashem Hamuda, Director General of Social Responsibility, accompanied by Mr. Muhammad Abu Malha, Board Member, and Eng. Mohiuddin bin Yahya Hakami, CEO of the association.
The meeting aimed to explore ways to increase cooperation between the two parties, with a focus on strengthening families registered with the association. The discussion centered around enabling participatory programs that can be implemented with integrity, benefiting from investment projects and government assistance projects linked to the Secretariat.
Eng. Hatan Hamuda emphasized the importance of activating partnerships with the third sector to fulfill social roles and responsibilities, aligning with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. He highlighted the municipality’s commitment to supporting civil society organizations and strengthening community programs that positively impact society and accelerate social and economic development.
Mr. Mohiuddin Hakmi, CEO of the association, praised the Secretariat’s role in mass development and enabling different social groups to participate effectively in the process of growth and prosperity. He emphasized that the visit reflects the effectiveness of the non-profit sector programs provided to beneficiary groups, which empower them and contribute to improving their quality of life.
