Off-Campus Training at the Education Center
The Hiroshima Municipal Hiroshima Special Needs School High School Vocational Course has three work-study groups: building maintenance service, cleaning service, and food service. This time, the building maintenance service group and the food service group will be doing their internship at the Education Center.
Purpose of the Training
Students in the vocational courses at Hiroshima Special Needs School will learn the skills necessary for working life and also undergo practical training outside of school as an opportunity to become independent.
Training Content
- Bread Sales (approximately 10 students and 3 instructors)
- Displaying bread
- Checking price tags
- Explaining products
- Serving customers
- Managing money
- Building Maintenance (approximately 10 students and 3 instructors)
- Cleaning the Education Center corridors and training rooms
- Wiping the entrance windows
- Wiping the library windows
Scheduled Training Dates and Times
- Bread Sales (twice a year)
- 1st session: Friday, September 20th, 12:05-12:45
- 2nd session: January 24th (Friday) 12:05-12:45
- Back-up date: Friday, October 18th
- Building Maintenance (twice a year)
- 1st session: Thursday, September 12th, 10:10-13:50 (break 12:00-13:00)
- 2nd session: January 30th (Thursday) 10:10-13:50 (break 12:00-13:00)
- Back-up date: Friday, January 24th
