* Provision of a civil complaint window to resolve difficulties related to competition law enforcement by overseas competition authorities
* Cooperation in providing policy education on overseas competition law
Importance of Fair Trade Cooperation
Han Ki-jeong, Chairman of the Fair Trade Commission, emphasized the importance of fair trade cooperation, stating that “competition law enforcement has become more active in each country recently.” He added that “our companies should not suffer damage due to not being aware of foreign competition policies and law enforcement trends in a timely manner.”
Benefits of the Business Agreement
The business agreement is expected to help manage risk and secure competitiveness for domestic companies operating overseas. By providing access to foreign competition policy and law enforcement trend data, as well as a civil complaint window and policy education, the agreement aims to support companies in navigating the complexities of international trade.
