Capacity Building Training for Low-Experience Civil Servants
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education has conducted capacity building training for low-experience civil servants (grades 8 and 9) to demonstrate flexibility in the changing future education environment and cultivate practical work performance skills.
Training Details
The training, which was held from the 17th to the 25th, was divided into two sessions, with a total of 120 participants, 60 per class.
The training content consisted of:
- How to plan and write reports in response to the era of artificial intelligence (AI)
- Public service life as an example of active administration
- Standards of speaking (speech)
- Discovering the value of my public service (Buckman prosecutor)
Goals and Objectives
The training aimed to strengthen planning and leadership capabilities to prepare for the future society by moving away from work-oriented education such as salaries and contracts, which are mainly handled by low-experience civil servants.
Statement from the Administrative Competency Policy Department
Gu Sun-i, head of the Administrative Competency Policy Department at the Provincial Office of Education, said, “Low-experience public officials are potential core talents who will lead future education and new economic education.”
He added, “We will continue to help low-experience public officials, including new public officials, adapt to public service early, improve their work performance and build solidarity.”
“We will provide support and provide a variety of training to strengthen the bond.”
