Empowering the Unstoppable: Hyundai Motors, CNN, and a Global Movement to Unleash Women’s Power

[더구루=김은비 기자] Hyundai Motor Company, in association with CNN, is launching a global campaign highlighting female leadership and innovation The campaign is determined to strengthen the sustainability and brand values ​​of Hyundai Motor Company through stories of the challenges of women leaders active in various fields.

According to CNN on the 5th, Hyundai Motor Company has signed a partnership with CNN International Commercial (CNNIC), a subsidiary of CNN, and will run a cross-platform advertising campaign. It targets a wide global audience through a combination of CNN TV channels, social media and sponsorship advertising.

Instead of using a typical ad format, we adopt a storytelling approach that naturally unfolds the lifestyle of the main character in the campaign to convey to the audience the company’s brand vision of ‘progress for humanity’ and the hero’s innovative leadership. It plans to inspire and motivate the audience in life.

First, CNNIC’s global brand studio ‘Create’ produces and delivers documentary videos. This video features Laura Enever, an Australian professional surfer, Guinness World Record holder and Hyundai Motor Company ambassador. Laura emphasizes her passion for surfing and life as a female surfer and delivers a message that encourages the next generation of female surfers to achieve their dreams.

Hyundai Motor Company also participates in the publication of CNN’s new serial project ‘Visionaries’. Visionary is content that highlights the stories of leaders who have distinguished themselves in the fields of industry, business, technology and sports. It is scheduled to air on CNN International TV, online and SNS channels from November to April next year.

In the first episode, American gymnasts Simone Biles and Jordan Childs, who competed in the 2024 Paris Olympics, appeared and shared their stories of overcoming stress and their experiences on the world stage. Next, former PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi will share her experiences balancing motherhood and leadership and emphasize the importance of female leadership.

The collaboration between Hyundai Motors and CNN started in 2016. At the time, Hyundai Motor Company partnered with CNN to publish the story of the Genesis brand. In 2020, Hyundai Motor Company and Kia Chairman Yue-Sun Chung appeared on CNN International and attracted attention by promoting Hyundai Motor Company’s innovative vision to the world.
