The Publishing Director of the newspaper L-integration.com made the Ambassador of the SDGs to the SNU in Benin
The international community celebrated on October 24, 2024, the 79th anniversary of the United Nations (UN). In Benin, the celebration was jointly organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the United Nations System country team on Friday, October 25 at the Novotel Hotel in Cotonou.
This celebratory evening was marked by two speeches: one by the Resident Representative of the United Nations System in Benin, Ms… and one by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Olushegun Adjadji Bakari. (Editor’s note: we will come back to both speeches in more detail)
The audience was also treated to a documentary on the United Nations. And finally, the Beninese journalists and activists who participated in the training on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) organized on September 18, 2024 by the DCO Africa and the Directors of the United Nations Information Centers officially received their certificate of participation.
