Endocrinology – $350000 Floor + $200000 Retention Incentive – Bismarck, ND at Sanford Health

Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join an established medical group in Bismarck, North Dakota. The recruitment effort aims to fill a position within a high-volume practice that serves a broad referral base spanning across Western North Dakota.

Compensation and Retention Incentives

The compensation package for the position includes an annual floor of $350,000 for the first two years of the employment contract. There is additional potential for the physician to exceed this compensation floor based on personally performed work Relative Value Units (wRVUs).

Sanford Health is also offering a $200,000 retention incentive. This payment is contingent upon the physician remaining a 1.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) for four years, subject to the specific details of a contractual agreement.

Practice Structure and Support

The endocrinology group in Bismarck currently consists of one physician and two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The role is described as being within an educational and management environment, providing the physician with the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload of patients.

Specialized support is integrated into the clinic’s operations. A diabetes educator is available to assist patients Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. To 4 p.m., and on Sundays from 8 a.m. To 12 p.m. Pediatric Endocrinology services visit the Bismarck location twice per month.
