Charlie Bracken, son ⁤of 2003 Rugby‍ World Cup‍ winner Kyran Bracken, has been named to a 36-player England training squad.

The saracens scrum-half is the first son of a World Cup winner to be included in a senior England squad. The team will gather ‍for a four-day training camp in preparation for matches against Argentina and the ⁢USA ⁣in July, England Rugby announced⁤ Monday.

Bracken, 21, was⁣ born three weeks after his father‍ was a replacement when Jonny wilkinson secured england’s World Cup victory in Sydney.

He has played 13 times for Saracens this season, with six⁢ appearances for Ampthill in Championship Rugby.

His inclusion comes as Alex mitchell tours with the British & irish Lions, and Ben Spencer and Jack van Poortvliet are⁣ due to play in‌ the Gallagher Premiership Final. Harry Randall’s Friday night injury also contributed to the selection.

Harlequins’ Will Porter has also been called into⁣ the ⁢camp at Pennyhill Park after playing for England A earlier this season. He and Bracken‍ are ⁣set to ‍compete with Sale ⁣Sharks’ Raffi Quirke.

Bracken’s 19-year-old brother, Jack, is also a highly⁢ touted talent at Saracens. Unlike his brother and father, Jack is a wing and has scored 11 tries in 15 ⁤senior appearances this season in the Championship, Premiership Rugby ⁤Cup and U20 Six Nations.

England Training Squad

Following the call-up of Sale prop Asher⁤ Opoku-Fordjour to the Lions training camp,‍ Bristol’s George Kloska, 25,‌ will join the senior England set-up for the first time after⁤ his performance against Bath Rugby.

Northampton’s Tom Lockett, 22, has also been included after an extraordinary season.

Exeter Chiefs⁣ wing Immanuel Feyi-Waboso, who has not played a game ‍since December, is included, and Northampton skipper George Furbank will continue his‌ return from concussion.

This England training squad is preparing for an England xvs match with ‌a France XV at‌ Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, ‍on Saturday, June 21. The touring side for the summer Tests against Argentina will be confirmed on Monday, June 23.
