President Erdoğan addressed the ceremony, expressing his heartfelt gratitude to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, police, and gendarmes.

“The police and gendarmerie are a source of pride for our country and nation,” he stated. “Their tireless efforts ensure the security, peace, unity, and solidarity of 85 million people.”

He emphasized the crucial role of the police and gendarmerie in maintaining national security, saying, “If we live in unity and solidarity, if our children go to school without fear, if our property, honor, and flag are secured, the lion’s share of this is yours.”

President Erdoğan also thanked the police and gendarmerie for their services to Türkiye, highlighting the significance of the vehicle acquisition ceremony for the gendarmerie and police forces.

“We are now refurbishing end-of-life vehicles, which will facilitate security activities, especially the fight against public order, terrorism, and drugs,” he explained. “Congratulations to our teams. There is nowhere that our police and gendarmerie do not touch.”
