Jakarta – Social media erupted recently after a video surfaced appearing to show Indonesian celebrity Fuji vaping during a live stream. The incident, which occurred during a live session between Rachel Vennya and Erika Carlina, quickly went viral, sparking debate and raising concerns.
In the video,Erika Carlina is seen video-chatting with Fuji, who appears to be vaping. Rachel Vennya, seemingly startled, quickly turns the camera away from Fuji. Moments later, Fuji’s startled voice can be heard through the phone.
erika Carlina, when approached for comment, chose to remain silent, stating simply, “No comment deh soal itu (Fuji nge-vape). No comment ya.”
Fuji’s father, Faisal, urged the public not to overreact to the situation. He acknowledged that his daughter was at home at the time and suggested that she may have been “just messing around” due to boredom.
“I don’t think it needs to be blown out of proportion,” faisal said. “Maybe she was just fooling around at home, feeling bored. Sometimes when we’re bored at home, we might do things like that, but not excessively.”
Faisal admitted that despite his best efforts to raise his children with strict values, he cannot control their every action, especially since they now live independently.
“we’re separated now, each with our own homes,” he explained. “There are things that happen at home that I’m not aware of,and I can’t control them. They also get tired and need to unwind sometimes. Maybe she did something at home, but I don’t think it’s right to be too restrictive.”
While understanding that everyone makes mistakes, Faisal expressed disappointment that Fuji’s friends didn’t look out for her.
“They should have looked after each other,” he said. “No one is perfect.I’m a bit disappointed with those around her. At home, we should be looking out for each other. What are we doing at home if we’re not taking care of each other?”
Faisal concluded by offering advice to his children, urging them to be more cautious, patient, and forward-thinking.
“Don’t be impulsive,” he advised. “Think things through carefully and consider the future.Whatever we do now has consequences later. We need to think ahead and avoid making mistakes that coudl harm our future. For our children, for our future, we need to take care of ourselves, our surroundings, and our family’s reputation. That’s what I always tell my children.”
