Erykah Badu and The Alchemist have collaborated on a new track, “Next to You,” released ahead of their joint tour in Japan. The Alchemist also hinted the song may appear on a forthcoming album titled Abi & Alan.
Badu has not released a full album since 2010’s New Amerykah, Pt. 2: Return of the Ankh, though she did release the mixtape But You Caint Use My Phone in 2015.
