Willian Backs Chelsea‍ New signing Estevao to Shine

Former Chelsea winger Willian has lauded the potential of the club’s new⁣ brazilian signing, Estevao Willian, suggesting he could reach ⁤the heights of Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal. Willian believes estevao, an ‍exciting young talent, can contribute considerably to ⁤Chelsea’s future success and help the club win titles.

speaking with ESPN​ Brasil, Willian, ‍who ⁢last played for Fulham​ in the Premier League, highlighted the⁤ similarities between Estevao and Yamal. He emphasized Estevao’s youth and immense potential, expressing hope ‍that the‍ young winger will ⁣quickly adapt to English football and achieve great success ⁤at Chelsea.

chelsea secured the transfer of⁤ the 18-year-old Estevao from Palmeiras for an initial fee of €34 million, with potential add-ons that could ⁤raise the total to around €67 ​million. The Brazilian has made 43 appearances in Brazil’s Serie A, scoring 13 goals and providing 12 ‌assists. He also has four caps for Brazil’s national team.

“Without a doubt, he has a lot ‌of potential, a ⁤lot of quality,” Willian said. “The player ⁣has the ​advantage of still being⁤ so young, but with great potential like Lamine Yamal,‍ they have a similar style.”

Willian, who played 234 league games for Chelsea, advised Estevao to dedicate himself fully and prepare for the differences between football in England and Brazil. He stressed⁣ the importance of ⁢extra work ⁤at the club to adapt to the English style of ⁤play.

“My⁣ advice is that he dedicate himself to the fullest,” Willian added.⁤ “In England, football is quiet different to what he is used to… I hope he can⁢ adapt as quickly as possible and get into the style of play here to ⁤be very successful.”
