Tallinn, Estonia – In a move to strengthen its presence in European sports diplomacy, the Estonian Olympic Committee (EOK) has signed a cooperation agreement with the European Olympic Committees (EOC). The agreement, signed by EOK President Kersti Kaljulaid and EOC President Spyros capralos in Pristina, Kosovo, will see the EOK become a member of the EOC’s EU Office starting January 1st.
This partnership signifies a significant step for the EOK, allowing it to tap into the EOC’s extensive network of experts and resources. The EOC, the umbrella association for Europe’s 50 national olympic committees, is dedicated to promoting Olympic values and fostering a culture of sport and healthy living across the continent.

Capralos, who visited Tallinn last year to celebrate the EOK’s 100th anniversary, welcomed the agreement.”Our cooperation is a step forward in strengthening the links between Europe’s National Olympic Committees and ensuring a unified approach to representing our interests in the European Union,” he stated. “Estonia’s active participation in European political debates and its commitment to developing sport and upholding the Olympic values will enrich our joint endeavors.”
