Monument to Faith Rises in the U.K.
Construction is underway on a 168-foot-tall monument in England, poised to become the largest Christian monument in the nation-adn potentially the world. This surpasses the height of Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, which stands at 98 feet.
Richard Gamble initiated the project, envisioning a giant infinity loop constructed from a million bricks. Each brick will be linked to a personal testimony of answered prayer, accessible via smartphone scanning.
A vision of Divine Intervention
The project, titled “The Eternal Wall of answered Prayer,” originated from a vision Gamble received of the massive, looping structure. He stated the wall represents a tangible expression of God’s faithfulness.
Despite a general decline in Christianity throughout the U.K., autonomous evangelical churches-including charismatic and Pentecostal groups-are experiencing growth.Gamble noted the surprising faith required to undertake such a boldly Christian project in a climate where Christianity has been largely marginalized.
Opening and Further Information
After two decades of planning, the Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer is scheduled to open to the public in 2028. Visitors will be able to explore the stories behind each answered prayer represented by the bricks.
