Etihad Launches Flights to Prague and Warsaw, Expanding European Network

Etihad Airways, the United Arab Emirates’ national carrier, has inaugurated services to Prague and Warsaw, marking a significant expansion of its Central European network. The inaugural flight to Prague, one of 16 new destinations for the airline this year, took place on June 2. Flights to Warsaw followed on June 3, further solidifying Etihad’s presence in Europe.

Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, emphasized the importance of these new routes. He stated that the Prague and Warsaw services create connections between the Middle East and Central Europe, offering travelers access to destinations across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, the indian Subcontinent, and Australia via abu Dhabi.
Prague, known for its Gothic architecture and cultural scene, boasts a historic center recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Warsaw blends historical architecture with modern skylines, offering a mix of customary markets, dining, parks, and cultural venues. These cities provide diverse experiences for travelers, while the UAE offers a blend of tradition and luxury.

The new services utilize the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, featuring 28 business studios and 262 economy smart seats. The business studios convert into fully flat beds with direct aisle access, while the economy smart seats prioritize passenger comfort. Both cabins include in-flight entertainment technology and comfort features.
