Eto’o Under Fire: Players Unite with a Blistering Message for the Cameroon Legend
Indomitable Lions’ Current Situation: Players Refuse to Stay at La Falaise Hotel
Jean Bruno Tagne addresses the Indomitable Lions’ current situation, revealing that the 24 rooms reserved at the La Falaise hotel in Douala have remained empty, despite preparations for the game against Namibia.
The players, refusing to stay there, chose to join their coach in Yaoundé, to show their disagreement with the Cameroon Football Federation and its president.
The Empty Rooms of La Falaise Hotel
The 24 rooms of La Falaise hotel in Douala remained desperately empty. They were retained by the Cameroon Football Federation who planned to make the Indomitable Lions base camp there for the match on September 7, 2024 against Namibia.
No player was determined to spend even half a night there in order to spoil the ego of the Cameroon Football Federation’s president.
A Slap in the Face for the Federation
This slap, this memorable bellow calls for at least one comment: the players will not be able to rely on the Federation in this crazy war of egos that has been waged since the appointment of the new coach Marc Brys.
Faced with threats, intimidation, insults, contempt and arrogance, the players’ message could not be clearer and more unambiguous.
