Despite being the second-largest foreign investor in the ASEAN region, the European Union currently accounts for only 10% of total ASEAN trade. He conveyed these insights following discussions with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in Kuala Lumpur, where ASEAN economic ministers were convening.
