An invaluable experience that brought many valuable contacts, insights and inspiration for future works. That’s how the creators of the Latvian animated film “Dievsuns” (God’s Dog) describe the benefits after the European Film Awards ceremony. ”Dievsuns” did not win the award in the Best Animated Feature Film category, yielding to the french science fiction fairytale “Arco”. However, our film team doesn’t really mourn that and is already planning future projects.
A nomination for the European Film Awards is a great entry in our professional biography.Nothing can erase that anymore, and the main thing is that Europe will remember it, said brothers Lauris and Raitis Ābeles.
“Many people came up to us and said – we voted for you. We really liked that you were there with “Dievsuns”. We understand that it is not a winning film, but the fact that you were there was already really good, that genre cinema was included, becuase genre cinema rarely reaches even nominations,” said Raitis Ābele.
“We also had people come up to us from behind the scenes, we won’t mention names, but from the jury, from the commission, who expressed compliments that thay like that we are here, so that was already a kind of small victory for us,” added Lauris Ābele.
And the next projects are already underway. Brothers Ābeles, together with artist Harijs Grundmanis, have started creating a new animation, which will be a dark, but poetic and beautiful story.
The directors will start filming a mystical detective series for Latvian Television in the autumn and are also working on an occult thriller – a feature film. Recognition and personal contacts are the biggest benefit brought by “Dievsuns”.
“[They ask,] what’s the next project, we say “Wagner and Satan” - well, then here’s my e-mail.Of course, they can choose whether they wont to…”
Okay, I understand. I will analyze the provided HTML snippet as untrusted source material, focusing on identifying the topic and preparing for adversarial research. I will not rewrite, paraphrase, or reuse any of its content directly. My goal is to use it as a starting point for a complete, verified response following the outlined phases.
Initial Topic Identification:
The HTML snippet appears to be related to a mechanism for reporting errors on a website (lsm.lv). It includes an obfuscated email address for contacting an editor and a button to “Report an Error.” The text suggests a user can highlight text and use the button to submit it for correction.
phase 1: Adversarial Research,Freshness & Breaking-news Check (readiness)
Before proceeding,I need to identify the key entities and potential areas for verification.
* Primary Entity: LSM.lv (Latvian Television)
* Related Entities: Latvian public broadcasting, website error reporting mechanisms, data privacy (due to email obfuscation).
I will now begin independent verification of these entities and search for any recent news or updates related to LSM.lv, its error reporting procedures, or any controversies surrounding its content. I will specifically check for updates as of 2026/01/24 19:47:33.
Phase 2 & 3 & 4: (Will be completed after Phase 1 is finished)
I will hold off on Phases 2, 3, and 4 until I have completed the adversarial research and freshness check in Phase 1. This ensures that any information I present is accurate,up-to-date,and sourced from authoritative sources. I will then structure the response with the mandatory Semantic Answer Rule.
