The event featured a competitive field, including a 16-team pool. Among the participants was Bowling Green State University, which finished the tournament in ninth place, tied with UT Martin. Bowling Green finished one stroke behind Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, which took eighth place.
University of Evansville Performance
The University of Evansville team showed strong individual performances during the tournament. Omar Khalid and Julian Kiessling both finished within the top 15 of the competition.
The team’s progression through the event was impacted by scheduling changes. On April 13, 2026, the opening day of the invitational saw the University of Evansville men’s golf team positioned in fourth place following the first round.
While two rounds were originally scheduled for April 13, 2026, a weather delay halted play. This necessitated a schedule shift to April 14, 2026, to complete the second round and proceed into the third and final round of the tournament.
