Hannah Forshaw Appointed CEO of Everton Women
Everton Women will have a new CEO for the 2025/26 Barclays WSL season: Hannah Forshaw. Forshaw is currently the Chief Operating Officer at The Jockey Club.
Forshaw, a Chartered Accountant with an MBA from Liverpool Business School, previously served as Vice President of Operations at Liverpool FC and was a member of Women in Football Committee. She transitioned to The Jockey Club in 2023 and became COO in 2024.
The move follows Everton’s proclamation that Goodison Park will become the permanent home for the women’s team, a decision hailed by WSL Football Chair Nikki doucet as a “landmark moment.”
“Hannah is an outstanding leader and the perfect person to guide everton Women into an exciting new era, as Goodison Park becomes the largest dedicated women’s football stadium in the world,” said Angus Kinnear, Everton CEO.
Kinnear added that Forshaw’s experience “will be crucial as the custodian of Goodison’s legacy.”
Visit Malta Partners with Newbury Racecourse
Newbury Racecourse has announced a partnership with Visit Malta, the official tourist board for Malta, Gozo and Comino. Visit Malta will be the title partner of Hungerford Day on Aug. 16.
The feature race, the Group 2 Visit Malta Hungerford stakes, boasts a £150,000 prize. Clean Bandit will perform after the races.
This marks Visit Malta’s first venture into British racing, adding to their sports portfolio that includes Manchester United.
Attendees will have a chance to win a holiday to Malta, including flights and accommodation, by using the Racecourse’s free Wi-Fi on Aug. 16.
“We’re excited to celebrate the very best of Maltese culture and are thrilled Visit Malta’s generosity will see one of our racegoers win a luxury holiday,” said Shaun Hinds, CEO of Newbury Racecourse.
LTA Announces Partnership with FAGE
The Lawn Tennis association (LTA) has partnered with FAGE, naming them the official yoghurt partner of british tennis. The partnership includes FAGE’s involvement in major LTA events like the Lexus Birmingham Open and the Lexus Eastbourne Open.
FAGE will also be a lead partner of the LTA youth program, aimed at increasing children’s participation in tennis, and an official supporter of LTA Women and Girls, including the She Rallies program.
To kick off the partnership, FAGE is offering grassroots tennis venues the chance to attend the 2025 HSBC Championships. A FAGE yoghurt station will be present at the HSBC Championships.

Cycle Exchange Partners with Lloyds Tour of Britain
Cycle Exchange, a retailer of pre-owned bikes, has become an official partner of the Lloyds Tour of Britain, the UK’s largest free sporting event.The partnership began with the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women and will continue through the men’s race.
Cycle Exchange plans to attend every stage of the tour, offering cycling enthusiasts a chance to learn more about their services.

Motherwell FC Announces Kwiff as Betting Partner
Motherwell FC has unveiled kwiff as their new official betting partner and back-of-shirt sponsor in a two-year agreement. This marks kwiff’s first football collaboration in scotland,aiming to increase its UK presence. Kwiff’s branding will appear on the back of the club’s kits.
