Señor Frogs Claim Victory at Formula E’s EVO Sessions in Jeddah

TheBurntChip, driving for Señor Frogs, emerged victorious at the 2026 Formula E EVO Sessions held at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit on . The event, which saw eight prominent content creators compete in the GEN3 Evo race cars, culminated in a thrilling final showdown against Behzinga.

EVO Sessions pits online personalities against each other in a competitive format mirroring Formula E qualifying and racing. This year’s iteration featured two teams: Señor Frogs, managed by Calfreezy, and Quickstars, led by Vikkstar. The drivers battled for both individual glory and a team trophy, adding a new layer of strategy to the competition.

The day began with a 15-minute qualifying session where each driver aimed to set the fastest lap time. Chip, piloting the Jaguar, quickly established himself as a frontrunner, posting a time of 1m28.425s. However, it was Behzinga, in the DS PENSKE, who ultimately topped the qualifying charts with a blistering 1m27.984s. JUCA, driving for Quickstars in a Porsche, secured second place despite an early spin.

The initial qualifying results saw Chip finish third, followed by WILLNE in the Mahindra and ArthurTV in the other Jaguar. Emilia Hartford, a returning EVO Sessions competitor and last year’s event winner, placed second for Quickstars, closely followed by Izzy Hammond in the Lola. Khaby Lame, Browney, and Max Klymenko rounded out the ten drivers.

The competition then progressed to the quarter-finals, following the traditional Formula E Duels format. Behzinga advanced after defeating Khaby Lame, while a significant crash involving Izzy Hammond resulted in damage to JUCA’s car, also sustained during the qualifying session. Hammond was able to walk away from the incident and was cleared by medical personnel after a 25g impact at the hairpin.

A strategic move by WILLNE saw him concede his run in the semi-final, effectively ensuring Chip’s progression to the final against Behzinga. Browney secured victory over Max Klymenko in a separate duel, earning the “Wooden Spoon” for finishing last.

The final race proved to be a nail-biter. Behzinga set a formidable benchmark of 1m26.633s, putting the pressure on Chip. In a stunning display of skill and determination, Chip responded with a lap of 1m26.233s, narrowly edging out Behzinga by just 0.4 seconds to claim the Individual Winners Trophy.

The victory wasn’t just for Chip; it also secured the EVO Sessions Winners Trophy for Señor Frogs, who accumulated 18 points compared to Quickstars’ 5. The event showcased the growing intersection of motorsport and online content creation, drawing a global audience and providing a unique platform for these personalities to experience the thrill of Formula E racing.

The success of EVO Sessions builds on the momentum from last year’s event, which featured high-profile participants like Brooklyn Beckham, Sergio Agüero, and MrBeast. Formula E continues to innovate in its engagement strategies, offering fans new and exciting ways to connect with the sport.

Coverage of the event began at 15:30 GMT and was available through various platforms, including live streaming on YouTube. Fans can find highlights and full race replays on the Formula E website and app.

Formula E’s season continues with upcoming races as detailed on their official calendar. Fans are encouraged to secure tickets and explore hospitality options for an immersive race experience.
