From Satanism to salvation: Former Leader Shares Profound Encounter with Christ

A Supernatural Encounter That Shattered a Worldview

In a remarkable account of spiritual transformation, a former leader in Satanism, known only as swiegelaar, has shared a deeply personal and transformative encounter with what he believes was Jesus Christ. This experience, he says, led him to abandon the occult and embrace the Christian faith, a journey he now dedicates his life to sharing with others.

The Apparition and the Test

Swiegelaar recounted a pivotal moment where he encountered an apparition. While another individual, Elar, identified the figure as jesus, Swiegelaar, steeped in Satanic practices, was initially skeptical. He did not believe Christ existed and was perplexed by the presence before him, recognizing it wasn’t a mere mortal.

“Remember, in Satanism there is a lot of… involvement of invoking demons and working with demons,” Swiegelaar explained. “So, demons always appear in a certain way to occultists and people practicing.”

Driven by his ingrained skepticism, Swiegelaar challenged the apparition, asking for proof of its identity. What followed was an overwhelming surge of love that left him profoundly shaken.

An Unmistakable Love

“When I saeid to Him, ‘You’ll have to prove it,’ he flooded me with so much love – and because of that lady [who hugged me days before] I recognized that love, because, you see, she had Christ inside her,” Swiegelaar testified.”So I immediately recognized that like this is real, and I remember I actually fell to my knees because I couldn’t stay standing up.”

The intense experience, lasting only a minute or two, brought an unprecedented sense of peace and quietude. Swiegelaar described being enveloped in a profound stillness and an overwhelming feeling of love.

The Christ-Sized Hole

This encounter shattered Swiegelaar’s existing worldview. He realized that while he had experienced happiness by worldly standards, it was ultimately insufficient. “I just didn’t realize that I had a Christ-sized hole in my heart,” he confessed.

The profound impact of this divine encounter propelled Swiegelaar onto a new path, leading him away from his leadership role in Satanism and towards embracing Christianity. This paradigm shift was not without its challenges.

A Journey of deliverance and Hope

“I had to go through a 10-month deliverance period,” Swiegelaar stated. “Because I was so involved in the occult and so involved Satanism, I went through nine sessions over a 10-month period of deliverance.”

Through this rigorous process, Swiegelaar found spiritual freedom and healing.Today,he is actively sharing his testimony and ministering to others who are seeking to leave the occult and find hope and purpose in the Christian faith. His story serves as a powerful testament to the transformative power of encountering Christ.
