Woodland Hills ⁤Doctor’s Murder: Ex-Wife Arrested in Connection⁣ with Targeted Killing

Woodland Hills, ⁣CA – The examination into the fatal shooting of Dr.Hamid Mirshojae⁢ outside his Woodland Hills practice has taken a dramatic turn‍ with the arrest of his ex-wife and two others.

Dr. Mirshojae, 53, was gunned down on August 23rd as ⁢he left his office on Topanga Canyon Boulevard.Surveillance footage ⁣showed the suspected gunman waiting in a nearby parking lot for nearly an hour before ambushing the doctor. The ⁣Los Angeles ‍Police Department (LAPD)⁢ immediately classified the killing as a targeted hit.

Earlier this week, LAPD announced the arrest of Evan Hardman, 41, of Tomball, Texas, and⁢ Ashley‍ Rose Sweeting, ‍40, of ⁢reseda, in connection with the murder. The nature of their relationship to Dr. Mirshojae remains unclear.

on Thursday,⁢ LAPD homicide detectives executed a ⁢search warrant at a Calabasas home on Newcastle Lane, confirming the⁤ residence belonged ‍to Dr. Mirshojae’s ex-wife, Ahang Mirshojae. Public records indicate the home was one of⁢ several properties searched by⁤ investigators.

the couple’s divorce was finalized in 2010, but ⁤court records reveal ⁣a history of ongoing legal ⁢battles, including a petition for adult child support filed by Ahang Mirshojae in April 2024.

Following the ⁢search,Ahang Mirshojae,53,and Shawn Randolph,46,were arrested on ⁣December 12th and booked for⁢ murder. ⁢ Sarallah Jawed, ⁤26, was also arrested on December 11th and booked for murder with special circumstances.

Randolph and Ahang Mirshojae are currently being held ⁢without bail. Their cases will be presented to the Los Angeles ⁢County ⁢District Attorney’s Office for ⁣filing consideration.
