Al-Ahly Prepares for African Champions League Kick-Off Against Gormahia
Swiss Marcel Koehler, Al-Ahly club technical director, has finalized the team’s list to travel to Kenya this Friday to face Kenyan opponents Zormahia in the round of 32 competition of the African Champions League.
The Al-Ahly Club hosted a training session at Al-Jazeera’s Touch Stadium on Friday morning, after which the team departed for Cairo International Airport on a private plane to travel to Kenya.
Team Preparation and Lineup
Al-Ahli Club’s first football team is gearing up to kick off this season’s African Champions League against Kenya’s Gormahia at the Nyayo National Stadium.
Al-Ahly’s first football team won the last edition of the Champions League by defeating Esperance of Tunisia in the second leg at the Cairo International Stadium.
According to sources, Al-Ahly will line up against Kenya’s Gormahia in the African Champions League with the following players:
