Media personality Yasmin Al-Khatib has apologized for last week’s episode of “Jasmine Tea,” hosted by blogger Hadir Abdel Razek.

He continued: “Our goal as a program team was not to create controversy, rather our goal was to draw attention to a socially rejected phenomenon – despite its popularity – which is the stardom of Tik Tok girls, which is based on vulgarity and excitement.”
He emphasized that “Hadir Abdel Razek was not hosted according to his capacity as a star, but rather in a case where his presentation was intended to emphasize his remorse for his previous actions, but the vast majority of viewers found his appearance offensive. Al-Nahar Channel and Media Syndicate took decisive action against the program and Yasmin Al-Khatib and referred them for investigation.
Al-Nahar Channel Network announced an apology to its fans for airing an interview with blogger Hadir Abdel Razek on the “Jasmine Tea” program.
The network decided to remove the episode from all its social media platforms.
Al-Nahar Channel Group added in a statement on Sunday evening that it had launched an investigation into the broadcast of the episode’s content and confirmed adherence to its values and norms, the approach it has followed since its inception.
The head of the media syndicate, Dr. Tariq Saada, issued a decision on Sunday evening to fire Yasmin Al-Khatib and summon her for an investigation.
The decision by the head of the media syndicate was based on al-Khatib’s violation of the media code of honor and code of professional conduct.
