President Claudia Sheinbaum held a meeting at the National Palace with Larry Fink, CEO of the investment fund BlackRock, to talk about the economy in Mexico and the importance of the T-MEC. Adebayo Ogunlesi, executive director of Global Infrastructure Partners, also participated in the meeting.
Mexico City, November 6 (However).- The The President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardoheld a meeting this Wednesday with Larry Finkchairman of the board of directors and CEO of an American investment fund BlackRockwith the aim of talking about the economy in Mexico and the trade agreement who stays with USA the Canada.
The meeting between representative and the businessman originally from Los Angeles, Californiahas taken place in National Palacel, and he also took part in this Adebayo Ogunlesi, banker and CEO of the company Global Infrastructure Partners dedicated to making selected equity and debt investments in markets around the world.
Through his social networks, Sheinbaum shared an announcement in which he announced that the meeting addressed “the strength of the Mexican economy and the importance” of the Agreement between Mexico, the United States and Canada (T-MEC).

Previously, during her morning conference, the President had already announced that she would hold an “important meeting” without giving details about who or with whom such an event would be held.
The meeting will be held a day after the US presidential election, when the Republican candidate Donald Trump became the winner, and indicated in his campaign that he would try to make adjustments to the T-MEC to set some measures with the aim of preventing the entry, across the Mexican border, of products of Chinese origin and other countries into the territory of the United States.
This is the second time that Claudia Sheinbaum met Larry Fink, since the two had the opportunity to speak in February 2024, when the head of the federal Executive Committee was still a candidate for the Presidency of Mexico.
