Exclusive: Nasrallah Dahiya Eyewitness to Devastating Attack, Israeli Official Reveals

After Israel launched a large-scale airstrike on Hezbollah’s main military headquarters in Beirut, there were conflicting reports about the fate of the Lebanese group’s secretary-general, Hassan Nasrallah.

A senior Israeli official told Axios that Nasrallah was present at the scene of the attack.

Israeli Channel 12 also said that it is now assumed that Nasrallah has been killed.

A source told the same channel that the indicators of Nasrallah’s assassination are positive.

He added, “The attempt to kill Nasrullah is also a message for Yahya Sinwar (head of the political bureau of Hamas).”

Also, Channel 12 said efforts are currently underway to verify Nasrallah’s condition.

His fate is unknown

Israeli media revealed that the army estimated that it would be difficult for anyone present during the attack in the southern suburbs to survive.

He added, “The military speculates that Nasrullah was present during the attack in the suburbs, but his fate is unknown.”

However, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority said it was not yet certain whether Nasrallah was inside the Central Command headquarters at the time of the bombing.

On Friday evening, the Israeli army announced that it had targeted Hezbollah’s central command in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
