Mirza Selimbegović on the 2024 Local Elections: A Vision for a Better Novi Grad
Mirza Selimbegović, the SDP BiH-NiP-NS Troika coalition candidate, recently participated in a debate show for the 2024 local elections. Unfortunately, Semir Efendić, the candidate of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina, did not attend the event.
Selimbegović expressed his disappointment that Efendić did not respond to the invitation, depriving citizens of the opportunity to engage in a debate. He stated, “This is a form of disrespect towards the citizens, who are deprived of the opportunity to debate. In my opinion, this is proof that the municipality is less important to Efendić, and that his ambitions are greater.”
The Candidate’s Vision and Program for Novi Grad
Selimbegović presented his program for a better Novi Grad, which includes 40 measures and projects divided into 12 areas. He emphasized that the program was developed in collaboration with experts from SDP, Our Party, and NiP, as well as through constant communication with citizens. “Our program is a reflection of the wishes and conversations with citizens we visited in local communities,” he said.
Transparency and communication with citizens are the top priorities for Selimbegović. He highlighted the importance of engaging with citizens and ensuring that their voices are heard.
