Pablo Marsal Hosts Exclusive Dinner for Businessmen to Fund His Mayoral Campaign

Pablo Marsal, the Brazilian Workers’ Party (PRTB) candidate for mayor of São Paulo, recently hosted an exclusive dinner for businessmen at his mansion in the upscale neighborhood of Jardim Europa. The purpose of the meeting was to raise funds for his political campaign, with a minimum donation of R$10,000 required to attend.
According to columnist Malu Gaspar, the virtual invitation for the event included a basic description and a Pix key for donations. The event took place on Wednesday, the 4th, at 7 pm, and donations had to be made in advance by Monday, the 2nd. To reserve a spot, guests were required to send proof of payment to the WhatsApp number of Marsal’s lawyer, Marcelo Tostes.

Marsal’s mansion, where the dinner was held, spans 900 square meters and sits on 1,500 square meters of land. The candidate met with approximately 30 businessmen at the event. According to the DivulgaCandContas platform of the High Electoral Court (TSE), Marsal has already received 1.7 million reais in donations, which corresponds to 31,000 donations from individuals.
