People’s Party Chairman Ke Wenzhe Detained and Banned from Meetings

Ke Wenzhe was detained by the Beijing Prosecutor’s Office on charges of conspiracy, bribery, and other crimes. The High Court sent him back without bail, and the Taipei District Court ruled that Ke Wenzhe should be held without bail. The prison van left the Taipei District Court at 5:50 to the Taipei Detention Center in New Taipei City.
