Play Halo: Combat Evolved in VR
Halo: Combat Evolved, the classic shooter, is now available for virtual reality thanks to a new VR mod. This mod is created by developer LivingFray and is based on the 2003 PC version of the game. To use the mod, players must own the original game, as the 2019 Master Chief Collection is not supported.
Features of the VR Mod
The VR mod includes many features that enhance gameplay:
- Fully synced stereoscopic view
- Spatial targeting for weapons and grenades
- Picture-in-picture scope for compatible weapons
- Two-handed aiming mode
- Rebindable controls, including a left-handed setup
- Motion-based melee attacks
- Flashlight activation
- Crouching features
- Floating user interface and crosshair
