Masanobu Ichihashi of Koreki Wai Wise will take you on a musical journey through time, playing SP records on a gramophone from about 100 years ago. As you enjoy the music, he will delve into the history of the gramophone and explain the fascinating process of how it produces sound.

The Fukui Prefectural Children’s History and Culture Museum is home to an impressive collection of gramophones, with about 80 of the 130 donated by Audio-Technica Corporation on display. This concert is a rare chance to learn about the history and sounds of the gramophone in an engaging and interactive way.
