Design Concept

Antelope House is crafted on a 99 sqm lot, surrounded by greenery and large trees, which is uncommon in Jakarta. The home offers a resort-like feeling amidst urban chaos. It spans three stories and incorporates minimalist aesthetics.

Inspiration

The design is inspired by Antelope Canyon in the United States, known for its unique geological formations shaped by erosion. This inspiration reflects in the house’s layout, which features dynamic spatial arrangements, skylights, and a glass corridor that connects different sections.

Key Features

1. Natural Light and Airflow:

   The house integrates a skylight and glass elements to enhance natural light. A passive ventilation system allows hot air to escape, optimizing airflow.

2. Inner Courtyard:

   An inner court places nature at the heart of the design, allowing rooms to feel surrounded by greenery, enhancing the living experience.

3. Simple Design Elements:

   The interiors maintain a decluttered appearance. Features like hidden storage solutions ensure that while functionality is prioritized, aesthetics are not compromised.

4. Material Use:

   The design emphasizes dark muted colors and warm textures, such as wood and rough stucco, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
