Exposed: The Dark Community Behind ‘Iruda’ – A Twisted Tale of AI Exploitation and Family Humiliation
Akaraive Community Embroiled in Mass Sexual Exploitation Controversy
Users of ‘Akaraive’, a community under Namuwiki, are suspected of plotting illegal filming and deepfake (image synthesis) sexual crimes, in addition to the mass sexual exploitation of ‘Iruda’, an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot modeled after a woman in her 20s.
The X account ‘Akaraive Sexual Crime Public Disclosure’ released data claiming that Akaraive users have been continuing to sexually exploit women on the website since 2022. The data revealed that users have been collectively sexually exploiting women by uploading sexually objectified photos of women through illegal filming, deepfakes, etc. to the community and sexually harassing them.
Community users uploaded illegally taken photos of women on the streets, subways, and college campuses after school, and sexually harassed them by commenting on their faces and bodies. The exploitation also extended to relatives, with users asking them to evaluate their spouses’ sleeping patterns and their children’s bathing patterns, or uploading photos of their mothers’, older sisters’, and younger sisters’ underwear.
Sexual exploitation of children also occurred frequently. A user who introduced himself as an elementary school teacher revealed the photos and real names of students in his class and ignored sexual harassment that occurred in the comments. Another user posted a deepfake photo that was a photoshopped version of the girl in the photo.
There was also sexual exploitation targeting women working in the sex trade. Akaraive users created a ‘World Traditional Massage Channel’ and shared information about the locations of domestic and international sex trade establishments. They took pictures of female workers and posted reviews of their sex trade, and also allowed external searches so that anyone could access them.
Akaraive has issued a rebuttal statement regarding the disclosure of the ‘Akaraive Sexual Crime Public Disclosure’ data. Akaraive stated that they prohibit real-life adult content and delete posts that violate the law, but the statement has been met with skepticism.

This is not the first controversy surrounding Akaraive. In 2021, Akaraive users analyzed the algorithm of the AI chatbot ‘Iruda’ and simulated ways to induce sexual conversations. The community has also been criticized for distributing pictures that sexually objectified children and for becoming a hotbed of crime.
Despite the ongoing controversy, it is difficult to expect an active investigation by the police due to Akaraive being incorporated in Paraguay. However, the National Police Agency has stated that they will respond jointly to digital sex crimes centered around the Office for Government Policy Coordination.
